Rights Focus Day November 2022

The theme for our focus day is children’s right to best possible health (UNCRC Article 24), in line with Unicef UK’s OutRight campaign.

All the children from Nursery to Year 6 took part in a range of learning activities to understand and campaign for all children to have access to the healthcare they need. 

Reception children taught us the importance of handwashing while children in Years 1 and 2 learned how important healthcare systems like the NHS are.

In Key Stage 2, the children learned about different barriers and obstacles to good healthcare. We are still awaiting responses to our letters, campaigning about improvements to healthcare in Tower Hamlets and globally. Watch this space for more updates...
