For our Spring term Rights Focus Day we raised awareness within our school community about how we show a ‘love of learning’ in all curriculum areas and how our curriculum links to Rights in the UNCRC.

Every class considered how they respect children's rights throughout our school day and created class displays to reflect this as well as creating displays to share our 'love of learning' across our whole curriculum.

Our Year 6 children campaigned about Climate Change in Tower Hamlets Town Hall where they gathered in the council chambers to give speeches to local council representatives including Lisa Fraser (Head of Education) who was very impressed by their passionate speeches. Year 5 marched to Roman Road Square where they gave their speeches about Climate Change and engaged with the local community to raise awareness about this issue.

We had some amazing posters for our home learning competition and the winning entries are being proudly displayed around our school.
